Selling Your Story

Tue 26 May 2020 - 5:00 pm

Loglines, One Pagers and treatments: How to create them. What needs to be in them.

BAFTA memebr Carol Russell is working with Kurious Art to present an exciting new webinary!

One of the most asked questions is about Logline, One Pagers and Treatments – How do you create them? And, what needs to be in them? Selling Your Story workshop is for anybody who wants to know some of the answers to those questions.

The first 45 minutes of the workshop will concentrate on the basics of each element of a good pitch: The Logline, the One Pager and the Treatment. The rest of the workshop will be dedicated to the Loglines and One Pagers of the project you've chosen for this webinar.

Please note: for this webinar you are encoruaged to submit in advance a Logline and a One Pager for a project of your choosing, so Carol can evaluate them for targeted comments. Don't worry if you've never written one before! Just do what you can. Once you've bought your ticket, you can submit your material here

A Logline is a one (or occasionally two) sentence description that boils the script down to its essential dramatic narrative in as succinct a manner as possible.

A One Pager is a one sheet document describing your project.
