Building a Poem with Suzannah Evans

This course will take participants through the building blocks of poetry, including shape, line length, form, imagery, word play, sound and rhythm, creating a portfolio of poems of our own throughout the course.

We'll read a lot of fantastic contemporary poems and we'll also explore editing techniques to help us to polish and edit our poems to make them the best they can be.

Please note: this is a 6 week workshop series with classes beginning on January 6th and continuing on January 20th, February 3rd and 17th, March 2nd and 16th.
